This was a cute book about a little Boy named Leo who when wearing a superhero outfit his Mother made him, does some super things. He uses his smarts and heart along with his cat Milkshake to help a poor little mouse find it's way back to it's family. The story has a great moral setting and fun illustrations.  I love that Leo does this while his family is sleeping- not looking for glory but because he is good in heart.  And since Leo is 7 years old in the story it was fun to read this with my son who is 8, and see him relate to Leo.
One reviewer said "The book also encourages the love and understanding between people and animals, therefore even cat and mouse as archenemies want to help each other on book pages."  
I couldn't have put it better myself.
I think is a great book for any child, and I truly think that they will love it as much as we did.

I have tried a couple of different brands of Phytoceramides

and out of all of them that I have tried so far, this seems to be a great brand.

I haven't been taking them for very long and even though my face still breaks out  but that could be from stress! ha!) I was already on the look out for a good car mount for my phone and tablet.  Something that I can stick my tablet on while waiting for the older boys to get out of school and watch Netflix with the little one.

Although I do wish this mount could stick to my dashboard it's not made to stick on the dashboard but to the windshield, and stick it did! It does great! I attached it to my windshield in just a couple simple steps, and it didn't let go until I took it off. 

And their customer service is impeccable , I was having some trouble with the first mount that they sent me and with out any problems when I contacted them they sent me another one out right away. How awesome is that?

This is mount is even great for holding my tablet in the kitchen when I want to follow a recipe off line. Or even better... Holding it while I am at my desk, it's perfect for when I am working on the computer and I want to have Netflix going while I spend way to many hours working.

Ever wonder if the products on TV really work or not? ...

They do work as well as they claim! Well at least this screen door does...
 It was super simple to put up- just some extra heavy duty hook and loop. It fit our back door well, no problems. Our back door is pretty standard size- pretty much the only one in the house that is a standard size! We have two different back doors, one where the dogs are and one out to the garage and guest house area, we choose the one going out to the guest house area because it gets the most use and we don't allow the dogs in the house.

The door is closed by several large magnets that are sewn into the mesh lining and they close behind you with out any work needed by you. The mesh screen is small enough that you don't have to worry about even little bugs getting though, it keeps them out. It's easy enough to take down, fold up, and store away if needed - we don't keep that door open all the time so having it up all the time doesn't work for us. But you are someone that wants it up for the entire summer and taken down in the winter it's something that you can do no problem. This is something that would make a great gift to put in a gift basket for a house warming gift, or for someone that has kids and/or pets that are always needing in and out of the house or slamming doors.

This book is very simple, but since it is about the color wheel then honestly you can't expect that it's going to be the crowning glory of all color related books. It did help me when I was getting tried and had been editing photography sessions and everything started to look the same. I could reference the book and see what colors complemented each other well. This book I believe will also come in handy while I am scrapbooking and crafting. You don't have to play the 'guessing game' and have 10 colors out trying to match up what looks best with what, just flip through the book and find out.

I have been taking this for a couple of weeks now and I have to say although I haven't noticed a jump in my energy or metabolism I have noticed a huge difference in my sleep.  I am always in the mood for a good mystery, I don't like anything that is going to scare me for the next month when ever I try to sleep but anything that has a puzzle like quality to it, I normally really like.
Tracks was no different. I am normally VERY good at figuring out who is who and who has done it long before the end of a story or the book. But to my shock and surprise I kept getting things wrong in my guesses, which honestly was very refreshing.
This is set in Israel, which I am not very familiar with so the picture I have in my mind of things may not be all that accurate ha, ha!  When I read things tend to play out in my mind almost like a movie, and this was a good one!  This has all the elements that a good book needs- a great story and plot line, great timing on delivery, a triangle and mess to unravel and have to unfold, in order to find the answers. What more could you ask for? The people  in the story are centered around 3 lawyers and the triangle start right from the very start.

 I have never tried to make any type of nut milk ever before, so when I agreed to try this out I was excited and nervous. I mean how the heck am I going to be able to make the almond milk that my family drinks? But we feel that homemade and natural is best, so I was going to give it a shot! I figured it was worth what ever headache I was going to have if I was going to get drinkable almond milk from it!

 

 I did some research online to start to figure out what I needed and needed to do.  You receive a free card with your purchase, which goes on to explain what you need and how to do things.

I was quite impressed with this bag, it's strong and durable.The stitching and seams are strong and aren't going to rip and break about the first time that you use it.

   

And since the mesh is so fine there isn't anything but liquid getting through. Although I haven't tried it yet- but have plans to-  you can use the pulp left over to make  butter out of. I can't wait to make some, my family is going to be so excited!
 The milk it's self came out smooth and creamy.

Washing the bag was easy too, I just used a tiny bit of dish soap and rubbed the bag down and rinsed with warm water, and then just left it over the top of a cup.  There was just a tiny bit left in the seams and when it was dry I was able to shake it all out and then I just rinsed again and put it over a cup to dry again. Easy as that! I can't wait to try juicing with this bag! The thought of no seeds excites me! HAHA!

I have been using this product for about 3 weeks now and for 30+ I have pretty deep crows feet, I tend to squint a lot. I have seen improvements on both my crows feet and the fine lines around my eyes since starting this.
I think with prolonged use there could be a lot of improvement, but for 3 weeks I am happy so far with the results.
The gel isn't bad smelling either, which is a plus. And it glides on smoothly and softly. I put this on after I use my Derma Roller ( you can read all about it Here) so that it is absorbed completely into my skin.
 I tend to only use it once a day, I'm honestly not sure if I should use it more or not. I have to research that a little more to figure it out.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this cell phone holder! It's not only fun and a little silly but since it bends any way you need it to I can get it to hang pretty much any where. I am always hanging it from my rear view mirror and putting on my GPS/ Maps it's so easy to see that way! I no longer have to look down but can now just glance across and see where I should be going! It's also great for when I am waiting in the pick up line to get kids from school now I just put on my toddlers favorite show, hang it up and let him watch for the little while we are there in the hot car waiting on his brother, I don't have to worry about sticky fingers, him pushing buttons he shouldn't and he gets to watch a show and be happy! Win. win!  I am thinking about buying another one to place in my truck as well!!  I just have to add... this is covered in a super soft rubber coating which wipes off well and you don't have to worry about it scratching up your phone, if your anything like me the last thing you need is something else beside you doing damage to your phone! I mess it up just fine on my own! HA. HA.

I have to be honest when this review came up I was super excited, and I was in the right to be so. I love this organizer! Not only does it have a place for everything but it has to room for everything! With this there is really no need for a diaper bag. It's even easier to look though and find things. And since it attaches with buckles I can take it off the stroller and hand it on the back of the head rest in  my car and it make it a perfect place to have things like wipes and car toys for the kids in the car. We are about to travel about 2000 miles to a wedding and I don't think that I will even think about travel with out this ever again!

This chart is super cute, there are 8 'parts' to the chart and a sticker with a 'chore' like task to go on them. Like working on math or spelling. Or you can write in your own, like since my son dresses himself and that is one of the stickers I added I did my daily chores to the chart instead of getting dressed. There are number stickers and star stickers as well so that you can keep track in a month how often they did what was on the chart. The chart also acts like a white board and you can use the enclosed marker to make notes, add rewards, etc. to the chart.
I added that if he did 2 weeks worth of chores with out being told and did them well he could have an extra afternoon at video games { HUUUUGE deal in our house}.
I think if you have a child that needs reminding of what they should be doing on a daily or even weekly basis this is a great chart to have!

Hmm, well I posted this review once but I don't quite know what happened to it since I posted it right as the power went out here!
Sooo let me try this again....

 I am not normally one to use bar soap for my face, but since this is a black head soap and I am prone to back heads more then anything else I thought this would be a great product to try. And guess what? I was right! Like I tend to say about all the products that I review nothing is going to be a "poof and over night everything is fixed" type of thing but since I have start using this both in the morning and at night my face has cleared up quite a bit. My nose and chin seem to be the worse places I tend to break out  and my chin looks clearer and my nose isn't as bad but still has a little ways to go before it's 100% clear. . This soap doesn't dry out my face, doesn't make it feel tight, and it doesn't strip the good oils from my skin either. This is a product I will continue to buy after this bar is used up. And with it being a bar it seems like it is lasting a lot longer then if it was a gel or cream. I am really loving this soap!
If you have skin that needs to be cleared up, this is totally worth a try!

Which is normally an ugly word in this house...

BUT..

 

DIET...

 

 

 is an even more horrid word! It's right up there with taking the Lord's name in vain. We just Don't do it around here. We don't talk about being on one, needing one, nothing... because normally it means that the convo is about me. And if your talking about me, with me, and the word diet slips over your tongue and past your lips and makes sounds coming out...well there is a good chance I might eat you alive.

I just can't handle it...

You see I have a major weight complex. I grew up with an amazing Mother whom I was so, so, so blessed to have. But she was over weight. fat. obese. It makes my stomach tie in knots just typing those words out. I never wanted anyone to focus on just her weight, she was so much more in life then being bigger. And then there was me. She always made me feel so proud to be skinny. My entire identity was wrapped up in being the cute skinny one. She would always tell people...
 " Yes, that's my daughter, the skinny one." and she would just beam saying it. It made me so proud to be her 'skinny' daughter. But I never realized how much of me was about being the skinny daughter until I was no longer skinny. Until I was no longer young, cute, and thin.
I do have some health issues that might be a factor in my weight gain and I have had 3 beautiful babies but the truth is, I never worried about my weight and health before now; I didn't think there was no need to, I was still thin. So now I am learning perfect portions, how much of each thing I should be eating because - even to much of a healthy thing can be unhealthy.

About the Scale:

The scale is extremely easy to keep clean, which in my house anything kept clean is nothing short of a miracle! The entire top surface including keypad is a sheet of glass. There are no indentations to trap food or germs. The code book is printed on good quality stock and coated so it is quite resistant to soiling, which I became aware of when I kept looking through it with dirty fingers from cooking!

This scale comes in 5 different colors: red, blue, silver, black and white. I received the silver scale for my review. The scale has a total of 1999 foods stored in memory- AND you can add up to 99 of your own foods!! How awesome is that?! That is crazy impressive to me! But then again I am like a 90 year old Alzheimer patient when it comes to memory! So half that would have impressed me! HAHA

There is also the added befit that if you happen to be diabetic, this scale can save these totals; so it is an excellent solution for diabetics.
It comes in handy with someone like my husband who has had to have stomach surgery due to an ulcer and has to watch the amount he eats along with what he eats.

This scale has come in handy more often then I thought it would honestly. We are using it every day now for every meal. It has helped us figure out how much is in each meal and how much to give each person on their plate.
We want to teach our children that healthy habits now lead to healthy habits later, and this scale has been a great tool for doing so.

I wasn't one to use "beauty" products before I turned onto the down hill side of 30,  but in the last year or so I have seen my skin change a great amount and not in the best of ways. I have seen more wrinkles, more age marks, and death valley has nothing on me when it comes to being dried out!

And in walks this vitamin C serum to the rescue! This serum has helped with my over dryness, the lack lusher look of my skin, and with my fine wrinkles and lines- like my crows feet, which have a tendency to make me look way older then I want to look.

 

I don't expect any treatment to be a magical cream/serum/ lotion etc... I don't think that anything is going to work over night, and I don't even expect it to have any results in 2-3 days. 7 days maybe, but I was shocked when I did see a difference in about 3-4 days with this serum. I use it with my Derma roller {You can read about the derma roller Here} and the bags under my eyes are lighter, the crows feet are a little thinner, and my face isn't as dry - all within about 4 days or so.

This is a brand that I would purchase again, because I feel it delivers on what it says it will deliver on. I don't feel like I have been ripped off and the wrong end of some beauty joke.

When you think of cleaning your face, do you think of doing it with oil? Or does the thought of oil make you shutter, the thought of your face breaking out in a million zits and looking like high school all over again? Well, it might not have been y our thoughts but it sure was mine. I thought "How the heck can OIL CLEAN my face!?"

The oil that Insta-natural sent me is amazing when it come to taking off my make-up. It takes off my eye makeup so easily that just a simple couple of swipes is all it takes. I just put a tiny amount on a cotton square and BAM all gone! Even my mascara, which is no thing short of a small miceral to be honest. I have started using Cover Girl's Bombshell mascara and although I LOVE the way it looks it's like dried up concrete trying to get it off of my lashes at night. And this cleansing oil does the trick every time without pulling all my lashes out in the process! Win / win for me!

 Because my skin does tend to freak out at even the thought of oil, I use this cleaner to take off my make up and then I wash my face with a sea salt acne medicated bar of soap. This may not be the case for  you though.

I would buy this just as a make-up remover! It's that awesome!

Cellulite... such a dreaded word for so many, including me! And yes, sad to say I have some. Mainly on my saddle  bags and buttocks area. I know TMI! I have been using this cream for about 3.5 weeks now and so far I have seem a little less ripples! At first I wasn't using it as often as I was suppose to. There are times when I enter my room at night make a beeline to the bed and pass out. Those nights nothing gets done!  I think with prolonged use this cream would have some good effect on my ulgy ripples. I don't expect there to be magic done over night, I do know that it is going to take a while. So a while is what I am going to give this product. I figure at least the entire bottle right?

I am NOT a runner..........
I like the thought of being one of those cute, bouncy, runners- someone doing 5ks and killing it. But my knees and all the problems that they have scream at me in pain at just the thought of running even a block. They would turn into knees the size of grapefruits.
 I love going to the gym, but it doesn't happen nearly as much as it should. BUT I have this amazing work out partner She keeps me on point and on track and she kicks my butt when I need it. And it helps that she lost the weight that I cam currently trying my darnest to lose, so she understand the daily battle that I face. But there are days that we don't work out together- with kids, work, husbands, houses to run, etc. things sometimes pile up and a work out together just doesn't fit into the hours we have in our days.
The days that this happens I work out at home normally at night {because it's the only time I can do it kid free} and although I like the music that is on my work out video some times I just want my own. I don't need to hear the instructions after all this time working out to it, I know it pretty much by heart and just follow the movements- which are dance movements. And trying to do these dance movements, sweating my butt off { or at least I hope I am!}, and holding my phone so I can use it with my ear buds doesn't work out all that well.... In fact it doesn't work out at all.

Ever since I got the armband to try, life during my workouts has been easier! I can turn my phone to my work out set, plug in my ear buds, slip it into the case and go! I love it!
Even though my arms are on the bigger side {with any luck, hard work, and prayer not for long!} this arm band stay put, it doesn't cut into my arm either. It's just plain comphy which is awesome. I don't worry about my ear bud cord not being long enough, my phone coming out of my pocket, or dropping it. Since I know that with this armband it's not going anywhere. And I don't have to worry about sweating my phone in to a black hole of death either. Since the phone is totally encased in the armband I don't get it all sweaty! And when I do take Max {the toddler} out for a walk I can slip in my house key into the special pocket, made just for that- your key- and go.
This is a great buy, it works well and it's made well so that it will last.
