an update...
Well for all the nice weather we were having here ( t- shirts and all! ) Mother Nature took it all away again... It snowed here last night and man is it ever cold here this morning!!! I feel like a frozen pop. I can't count how many times I have been thankful that Mike is like a human heater keeping me warm at night. I didn't turn on our room heater last night because I didn't think it was going to get this cold! Man was I ever wrong!
And on a Woo Hoo note...
Everyone here seems to be over being sicky and back to normal. That was a long couple of weeks here while everyone was sick.. so glad that it is over... PHEW!
We have found T-ball for Morgan to play here in El Paso, we go to sign him up tomorrow. I don't know who is more excited me or him! haha Mike got him his first mitt and ball the other day and he has been walking around ever since throwing the ball in to the mitt. We are still on the look out for something for melessa to 'play' or do.
Other then those things there really isn't any thing new going on here....
here are a few picture of Morgan with his Ball and Mitt....

Chocolate Caramel Turtles
This is a recipe that I use all the time to make Turtles, which is one of my favorite candies and one of my family favorites. So I thought I would share them with you...
CHOCOLATE CARAMEL TURTLES
Serves 16 people
Ingredients:
•2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
•1 ½ cups of pecan halves (halves…not crushed or chopped)
•28 caramel squares
•2 tablespoons of whipping cream (store bought or homemade)
Directions:
1.Melt chocolate chips in a boiler and stir until texture is smooth.
2.Once chocolate is cooled, drop 16 large blobs of chocolate on wax paper.
3.Form chocolate into a ball or circular shape.
4.Place four pecan halves on top of each chocolate ball and/or circle.
5.Place chocolate balls in the refrigerator in order to slightly chill.
6.Take the proper amount of caramels (28) and necessary whipping cream, and melt both ingredients in the microwave. Simply heat until the ingredients are properly melted.
7.Once the melting process has occurred, promptly stir the mixture and allow assortment to cool.
8.Retrieve chocolate balls from the refrigerator and spread the mixture (caramels and whipping cream) over the pecan pieces that were placed on top of the chocolate balls.
9.Use remaining semi-sweet chocolate chips, heat to melt, and spread over the top of each “turtle” that has been prepared.
10.Chill “turtles” in the refrigerator until cooled, and then serve.

It has been...
It has been...
A very trying week here at the Visser house hold. Both of my poor sweet kids have been soo very sick. Melessa and Morgan are both sick with a hacking cough and the flu. Melessa missed school from Monday to Thursday and Morgan hasn't had a good nights sleep in days. I haven't either for that matter. Morgan has been up every night this week with a fever, cough, drinks of water, and body aches. I am soo very thankful that Melessa takes care of herself for the most part after bedtime, I only have to help her out when she is throwing up. I feel for all those parents out there that have mulitiple births. Here is a 'AWESOME JOB!' to you! I can hardly imange what it would be like to be up with 2 or 3, 3year olds this sick all night long all week. I think I might loose my mind! hahaha
But other then that nothing much going on here, just tissues, cough drops, and lots of water drinking!
