This is now one of our new favorite bed time reads, this is a story about a sweet girl visiting her grandparents. While there she goes exploring and discovers a magic bike, this bike takes her around the world to the jungle. This is a great read for bed time, not so short that your child will feel like there isn't enough and it's not so long that you feel it drags on forever.

The story is positive the entire way through and ends on a sweet "note" - a moment between Abigail and her grandfather. This story shows how with a little bit of child innocence and faith you can make it anywhere, even if it's just your child's imagination. 

The book has great illustrations with great colors, that kept  my 2 year old enticed through out the entire book. He loved pointing out things to me- trees, feathers, etc., etc...

  I will be looking for more books by this author, we are now big fans!

I have to say, until I hit that age old magical number of 30 years I never reallllly thought about my face, skin, and aging. Now that I am on the other side of 30, my expression lines aren't going away, I still have ugly breakouts, and I now see fine line and some not so fine lines I think about it all a lot more! I really like this serum, the ingredients are organic and natural which is why I believe the bottle is the size that it is, so that is doesn't "go bad" or at least that is what I think anyways. I even love the smell of the product! And YES, it works well, very well in face. From the first time that I used it, I could tell the " I have kids and never get any good sleep" circles under my eyes were lighter and softer looking. My skin has started to clear up as well. I didn't look like a teenager with an exploding face in the first place but as an adult the one or three huge zits I had were enough to make me feel like one. And although I still do get a zit every once in awhile, this serum seems to help my skin clean up faster then it did before I was using it.

I hate to admit it but I more times then I want to be am a "blow-up" type parent, what I mean by that is that I tend to blow up and yell even though that's not anything like I want to be. It's not who I want to be, not as a parent or as a Christ seeking woman and wife. And I tend to blow up at my husband over stupid things. I don't think that there is ever been a time or reason that I needed to blow up at Mike, that's just tends to be my knee jerk reaction.

I was excited to get this book and start reading it, I knew that if the tips and principles were practical then it would work for me.
 And there are, The book is well thought out and written so it's easy to understand.

This was a good read, one that is well written and well thought out.

I like how the author doesn't just jump right in to things, he talked about how things started out for him. How he understands that there are a million and one self help books out there and that is not his intention for this book necessarily. If it helps you in that manner then great! But he wanted to tell his story, he wants to tell it from his point of view, from the deepest depths of his depression to the highest point if faith with God.

He was brutally honest in this book but keeps it well written and lighter with humor.

 In the book he tells about how during an event when he was born left him with Cerebral Palsy, and how he has over come letting it define him and who he is.

HA!  

I don't think that these are going to be the next magic skinny pill, but I do think that if you are trying to lose weight that these could be a big help.

 I have never tried to make any type of nut milk ever before, so when I agreed to try this out I was excited and nervous. I mean how the heck am I going to be able to make the almond milk that my family drinks? But we feel that homemade and natural is best, so I was going to give it a shot! I was excited to get this screen to review, I have been 'eyeballing' them for a while now and just wasn't sure if they worked as well as they claimed.

They do work as well as they claim! It was super simple to put up- just some extra heavy duty hook and loop. It fit our back door well, no problems. Our back door is pretty standard size- pretty much the only one in the house that is a standard size! We have two different back doors, one where the dogs are and one out to the garage and guest house area, we choose the one going out to the guest house area because it gets the most use and we don't allow the dogs in the house.

The door is closed by several large magnets that are sewn into the mesh lining and they close behind you with out any work needed by you. The mesh screen is small enough that you don't have to worry about even little bugs getting though, it keeps them out. It's easy enough to take down, fold up, and store away if needed - we don't keep that door open all the time so having it up all the time doesn't work for us. Do you have kids that use computer? Without supervision?  Or do you have children that want to e-mail grandparents and family but you don't want them on your personal e-mail account?

 I am one of those people!

I have a daughter who is old enough to use the computer without me standing over her shoulder, but we still want to be able to keep a close eye on her on-line activates. My daughter is 13 and she had been begging to be allowed to have an email account so that she could email friends and family on her own.

 We still won't allow her to have a social media account anywhere I.E. Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. We just don't feel like she has the maturity we think she needs just yet, to be a cautious as she needs to be.

The answer to this problem is Kids Email , she gets an account but everything sent to and from the account have copies sent to my email address as well. This way I know if she is crossing a line with her friends that she shouldn't be. Yes, she knows that I get copies of all her emails. She understands that we want her to be as safe as possible in person and online and this is a way to help gain our trust to get a Facebook account in a year like she wants.

We were so impressed with the service that we even made an account for our 8 year old son when he asked.

They can only e-mail the addresses that I have logged into their address book, and those are the only addresses that can e-mail them back.
They have their own log in, so that they can't get into each other's accounts. There is a kids, teen, and parent log in.
And since I made their log ins I know the passwords, but my parent account gives me excess anyways.
And now they even have an app so your kids can email on the go! Like when you are on a family trip and they just can't wait to send that picture to their Grandparent!

My family loves being able to email pictures and daily tid-bits back an forth with the kids, and I love that they are building up responsible trust with their Father and I.
Now this is a paid service and it's about $40.00 or so a year, but to us that's a small price to pay to know that our kids are safe sharing online.

This oil has really lived up to it's name- liquid gold. I use it on my hair every time I get out of the shower and it has helped make my hair so soft and manageable and keep it that way. It has stopped my hair from breaking off so much too. I use it on my hands, knees, and elbows as well to help keep my skin soft. I will be buying this again, no doubt. And I this will be one of my go to gifts I place in Christmas baskets this year as well for some of the girls that I know. The smell is so organic and soft so you don't have to worry about it making your hair smell funky either.
