Knowing Vera Author Rachelle Ayala {A Book Review}

Knowing Vera

Rachelle Ayala

{A Book Review}

A little back ground on the book:

Vera Custodio has never fallen in love, though she has strong feelings for her friend and sometimes lover, Zach Spencer. Long-forgotten memories resurface when Vera discovers Zach’s mother was the woman her father supposedly murdered many years ago.

After losing his leg, former triathlete Zach Spencer reevaluates his life—and realizes he’s falling in love with Vera. After she ends their relationship, Zach is determined to prove his love and follows her to Australia in search of the killer.

Caught between a web of family secrets and a deranged adversary, Vera and Zach must depend on each other for survival. Love blossoms, but the truth explodes everything Vera knows about herself. Will she close her heart forever or risk it all for a shot at happily-ever-after?

[Content Advisory: Hot, steamy love scenes and a few swear words.]

Wow.......

 To be honest when I started reading this I thought that I was going to be able to figure out the plot long before the end of the book, boy was I wrong! There are several hot love scenes and a few swear words and if your not ready for those love scenes they might take you by a little bit of a surprise.
This book is well written and although there were a couple of times that I did have to go back and re-read a paragraph or two to make sure I had a firm grip of the story it never really 'lost' me or confused me. I'm not the type of reader that likes to have to search for the answers in a book, I like them to be revealed to me as the story goes along, this book did that well.
This book had great story plot timing. Nothing about the mystery of who was who was jumped ahead of it's self or had you starching your head way past the cliff hanger.
 This is the first book that I have read that was authored by Rachelle Ayala,  I was impressed.  I will be looking up her other work soon to read. I hope after reading this book you do the same!

Here is what her Amazon author profile says about her:
Rachelle Ayala is the author of dramatic fiction featuring strong but flawed characters. She writes emotionally challenging stories and is not afraid of controversial topics. However, she is an optimist and laces her stories with romance and hope.
Rachelle is an active member of the California Writer's Club, Fremont Chapter, and a volunteer for the World Literary Cafe. She is a very happy woman and lives in California with her husband. She has three children and has taught violin and made mountain dulcimers.
