Our Soilders and their families...

I want to take a moment to say thank you, thank you to those that serve and thank you to those that are standing in the silent ranks at home. Having a loved one gone on deployment at Christmas time has to be one of the hardest things to deal with, I am lucky, although Mike works for DoD and on a base I don't have to worry about him ever really being gone. Yes, he does work on the holidays- the day it's self and yes, sometimes he does get sent on a strike team in the summer, but never anything like those that are enlisted or those that are called to active duty. I was listening to one of my favorite Christmas song eailer today Bring Him Home Santa and it just crushes and touches my heart all at the same time. There is so much to get done at christmas time, the gifts and wrapping, getting Christmas pictures taken of the family, the shopping and food prep, then all the cooking, keeping the gifts hidden until the big moment on Christmas morning, and the list goes on and on...
But I think we all should take more then just a 'moment' to say thank you.... and May God bring each and everyone home safely.
here is another great song...
